We are giving one lucky winner a free 2-week Eco-Venture Expedition at our conservation field centre in Lombok Indonesia.

We have been fortunate enough to host some truly incredible people as “SORCE Students” on our expeditions over the past 5 years, and we hope you will become one of them.
Located right on the beach our facility boasts traditional bamboo and grass-roof bungalow lodges, our own scuba diving store, delicious meals cooked freshly each day by our own talented catering team, and a fully equipped classroom where our marine scientists are eagerly waiting to teach you all about the world of marine conservation. With hammocks and lounge areas, games, movie and bonfire nights, a basketball court and open-air gym, even your down-time will be idyllic. We even have kayaks and paddle boards to rent if you want even more adventure!
From Tuesday – Saturday our students are engaged fully in theory lectures and practical training, active land-based conservation activities, and 2-3 hands-on conservation dives per day. By the end of each week, you will be brimming with new knowledge and skills, with incredible photos and stories to match! Sunday is our FUNDAY and we truly make the most of it. With ‘fun dives’ only and an evening party full of incredible food, you will have the chance to really let loose and enjoy the tropical paradise that is your home and classroom. Monday is a chill day, no dives, just peaceful relaxation, and a chance to explore the surrounding islands and villages.

From coral planting to turtle protection, our Eco-Ventures are packed with thrilling activities that make a real difference to the ecosystems and species we support. Each activity is rooted in our research, conservation, and education initiatives, equipping you with the knowledge and skills to engage hands-on. Learn from expert marine biologists and become an active participant in our impactful marine projects. From day we will get you actively participating, as we teach you about the biology and conservation of coral reefs, mangrove forests, sea grass meadows and the vibrant myriad of fish and invertebrates that inhabit them. Through our programs you will play an active role in the conservation and restoration of these ecosystems, from coral and mangrove planting to cleaning up plastic and monitoring the health of the reefs and the diversity of the fish and megafauna species that live here.

Only 1 submission will be counted per person (based on name and email address).
The winner will be selected and informed by the email used in the competition entry by 23:59 on Thursday 22nd August 2024 (GMT +1). SORCE is not responsible for any spam filter issues encountered.
All entrants will be emailed a discount code for 10% OFF which is valid on any Eco-Venture expedition of 2-6 weeks in duration.
10% OFF discount code will be valid on expeditions that start from 1st September 2024 – 1st September 2025.
The discount code is applied only to the initial Eco-Venture booking only and will not be valid for secondary use on any extensions, add on courses or extras.
The grand prize winner will receive a FREE 2-week Eco-Venture expedition at SORCE, all details as per the website: www.sorce.org/eco-venture.
The free 2-week Eco-Venture prize must take place between the 2nd of September and the 4th of November 2024 or between September 1st and October 27th 2025 and can only begin on a Monday as per our standard terms and conditions.
No compensation will be provided if the winner is unable to use the prize during these dates.
Should the winner decide they wish to stay longer than 2 weeks, the extension period will begin from week 1 on our standard pricing scale for the Eco-Venture.
The winner must reply to acknowledge that they accept the prize by 5pm on Monday the 26th of August (GMT+1)
